The Bengkulu City DLH waste levy target for 2024 has not changed from 2023, which was also IDR 2.5 billion.

After rationalizing the targets in the 2023 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) changes.

"This year's target has not changed, it is IDR 2.5 billion, and this is still waiting for the regional regulation to be ratified, and the hope is achieved," explained Riduan.

Currently we are still waiting for the results of the Central and Provincial Government's evaluation of the Regional Regulations (Perda) on Taxes and Retributions that have been submitted.

But until now it has not been implemented.

"This target can be achieved when we implement the new rates in the regional tax and levy regulations, which we are currently still waiting for when they will be implemented," explained Riduan.

The dilemma, said Riduan, is that if there is no implementation of new tariffs, DLH is pessimistic about the targets that have been set.

"If we still use the old regional regulations, it is difficult to achieve this. If we use the new regional regulations, with an average increase of 86 percent, God willing, we can achieve this," said Riduan.

In 2023, from the target of IDR 2.5 billion, only 30 percent more than the target was achieved.

This is due to several problems such as the large number of people who do not pay appropriately and also tariffs that are no longer rational.

"Last year only IDR 1 billion was achieved, and this is far from the target because our rates are still using the old rates," explained Riduan.

Riduan hopes that by maximizing existing routes and updating levy rates, he can increase the realization of PAD for waste levies for Bengkulu City DLH.

“target tahun ini tidak berubah, diangka rp2,5 miliar, dan ini juga masih menunggu pengesahan perdanya, dan harapannya tercapai,” terang riduan.
saat ini masih menunggu hasil evaluasi pemerintah pusat dan provinsi untuk peraturan daerah (perda) pajak dan retribusi yang telah diajukan.
tetapi sampai saat ini belum bisa diterapkan.

dilemanya kata riduan, jika tidak adanya penerapan tarif baru, dlh pesimis dengan target yang telah ditetapkan.

“kalau masih pakai perda lama susah tercapai, kalau perda baru, engan rata-rata kenaikan 86 persen insyaallah bisa tercapai,” sebut riduan.
pada 2023 lalu, dari target rp2,5 miliar, hanya tercapai 30 persen lebih dari target.
ini dikarenakan beberapa permasalah seperti masih banyaknya masyarakat yang tidak membayar dengan sesuai dan juga tarif yang sudah tidak rasional.
“tahun lalu hanya tercapai rp1 miliar, dan ini jauh memang dari target karena ditarif kita masih menggunakan tarif lama,” terang riduan.

riduan berharap, dengan memaksiamkan trayek yang ada dan diperbaruinya tarif retribusi, dapat meningkatkan realiasai pad retribusi sampah untuk dlh kota bengkulu.
“trayek tetap dan tidak ada tambahan, dan kita optimis dengan kenaikan tarif untuk realiasai pad tahun ini,” ungkap riduan.
riduan memastikan terkait adanya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang kenaikan tarif retribusi tahun ini.
“tentu kita sosialisasi, agar masyarakat tahu, dan dapat membayar sesuai dengan tarif perda,” terang riduan
sementara itu, kintannia, warga kelurahan sido mulyo mengharapkan ada peningkatan pelayanan yang diberikan dlh saat menaikkan tarif retribusi.

ini penting dilakukan untuk memastikan pelayanan terbaik dari dlh.

meanwhile, kintannia, a resident of sido mulyo village, hopes that there will be an increase in the services provided by dlh when increasing levy rates.

"look at the news in rb (bengkulu people's daily, ed.) yesterday, the increase was 86 percent, so we hope there will be an increase in services from dlh," he concluded.
