Apart from the budget allocation from the Bengkulu Provincial Government, Syarif appealed to the district/city government to prepare an emergency budget in anticipation if there is an additional quota that needs to be accommodated.
In fact, this matter was also discussed in a meeting of the heads of the regional Budget and Revenue Team (TAPD) and the district/city Regional Secretaries (Sekda).
"In the last meeting with the heads of TAPD and district/city regional secretaries, we asked them to be prepared in case there was an additional quota that could not be accommodated by the provincial APBD," he said.
If there is an additional quota, Syarifuddin emphasized that additional Antara Embarkation aircraft would be a solution.
However, this will be charged to the district/city Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) if it cannot be accommodated by the province.
"We hope it doesn't happen like last year. At that time, pilgrims had to pay Rp. 6 million to Rp. 7 million, depending on the condition of the plane. Currently, thank God, everything has been accommodated in the district/city APBD, and this is used after there is certainty of increasing the quota ," said Syarif.
